Not too many years ago photography used to be images captured on film, and then by the magic of light it was applied to photo paper. Now for the most part, the digital process has replaced darkrooms, enlargers, timers and trays of chemicals. In its place there are now high resolution monitors, powerful computers and photo programs and filters. The art of photography has not changed nearly as much as how we create the final image. In this series of fine art prints, I’ve taken the best of what photography, scanning, and years of experimentation has offered me, to create not only powerful images, but colors that impacts our souls.
